I’ve been lucky enough to capture some of the Vann Family’s most precious little moments …. Andrea’s maternity session, Addy’s newborn photos to this year’s family shoot… I love watching the kiddos get bigger. Their little personalities are crazy-fun and I love that every time I deliver photos Andrea’s always surprised I got “anything” to work with. ha! Thank you Washington weather for the late Fall sun! I love those sun spots- pretty,pretty :)

It’s time to sit back and soak in some seriously pretty ‘wedding bliss’ from Lindsey and Kyle’s “Big Day!”

We are so lucky to be close pals with Lindsey and Kyle ….so when they asked us to photograph their wedding we felt so honored. (I should mention, I use the “we” here because my Hubby, Brandon took the reins as my “Second Shooter” and did an awesome job! Thanks babe!) Their wedding was my last of 2013 and it was the best way to cap off my wedding season.

Getting laughs and silly moments out of these two was a cinch! They are a super fun couple and love to laugh …..as evidenced below (I seriously LOVE this shot! This is all them :)….

 ….and they evenly balance that carefree fun with companionship and mutual respect. There is a whole lotta love between these two!

 This wedding was over a year in the making and every detail was lovingly created to make guests feel special and share who Lindsey&Kyle are together. The event was held at The Pickering Barn in Issaquah, Wa. The Barn and grounds are GORGEOUS! They were also blessed with some serious Seattle sun which always help :)

 and now please hold your breath because this Dad&Daughter shot makes my heart skip a beat…..so pretty.

 Now, now….I know this photo is a little blurry but it reminds me of that Lifehouse song…”and it’s you and me …and all of the people”…. That’s what a wedding is really about. Lotsa Love!

I loved doing this sweet little Maternity+Family session for the Sindayen family who are expecting a little one in September. We were blessed with a beautifully sunny day in Kirkland that was just perfect! I can’t wait to post the “reveal” Baby Shower photos from the Sindayens bundle package and photograph their little one very soon! Congrats Sindayen Family :)

And this….was one of my best surprises of the session. I love this shot …. a defining moment as Macaela moves up to her new “Big Sister” role. As a Big Sister myself I must say….It’s one of the most beautiful blessings.

I love this sweet little session I did for Gemma’s first birthday! I love doing cake smashes for babies whose newborn shoots I’ve done. It’s amazing how much these little ones change in a year and I love seeing their little personalities come out. I am SO lucky to call Gemma’s Mommy, Lacie a dear friend and rely on our Wednesday play dates to maintain my sanity so when she proposed Gem’s cake smash on one of our Wednesdays I was thrilled for the opportunity. Gem is a fabulous bag of tricks and expressions. This session was a total hoot! I can’t wait to continue capturing memories for her as she grows. Love you ladies! xoxo.

I love this sweet-impromptu session I did for Friends, Jill and Ian’s newest Daughter, Finley Chase. Jill was no-frills about Finley’s session- no props or bean bag- we just propped her up on a blanket and snapped a couple shots with Mom & Dad. The shots are so natural and pretty.

When you get a last minute call from one of your girlfriends to do a family shoot because she’s going into hip surgery in a couple days you jump to it! I have known Janae for a couple years through work and am absolutely head over heels in love with her little one, Brooklyn. You may recognize Baby.B from her Newborn shoot in the NICU and many photos along the way. Janae wanted photos at the UW to celebrate Daddy Phil’s Graduation in June and Miss Brooklyn’s FIRST Birthday. SO sweet :) I smiled the entire time I edited these little beauties…..that Baby is just such a doll face. I love her many expressions. Heal quick Janae! I want to see you out on the town soon! :) xoxo.

I’m back! … well kind of :) I was busy having a baby and enjoying her fabulous scrunchy sweetness the last 2 months. The morning our sweet Isla was born I shot this cake smash session for my Niece, Grace’s 1.year birthday (Sorry for the late edits and post!!) ! I had no idea later that day we’d be welcoming our own bundle.

I LOVE these sweet shots and the memories of our many laughs at 1.year young Grace…. her many smiles, coy looks, giggles and that cake….oh that cake….all over her face and tummy, such yummy sweetness. These sessions are quickly becoming one of my favorites- celebrating milestones with flour & sugar, genius!

Paxton turned one! yahoooeeee!

You may remember this little guy from his newborn pics a year ago. That one with the little owl hat still warms my heart. I had such a good time with Paxton and his fun parents, Matt & Jen at Marymoor Park in Redmond. These were taken in my favorite field. It is the best of the best–usually deserted and when the light’s pretty it’s SO drool-worthy pretty. We rescheduled this session 3 times due to massive rainy weekends and FINALLY got lucky on this pretty afternoon for these shots. I’m SO glad we waited!

These two crazy kids are fabulous and extra photogenic (if you can’t already tell :) I coordinated their Crescent Bar wedding a couple years ago and we’ve been friends ever since. They wanted to do a Fall mini-session and after a little scrambling with the weather we got SO LUCKY and had beautiful light and a pretty perfect morning. Thank you Kirkland for clearing out that AM fog- we appreciate you!
